Get better with a structured training plan and access to a vibrant community

Tier Two Membership caters to self-guided athletes looking for an optimized training plan tailored to their race calendar. Athletes will receive a bespoke training plan reflecting proven Working Triathlete methodology along with light coach support.

Benefits include:

  • A Training plan tailored to an athlete’s race schedule delivered in two to four week increments

  • Access to the Working Triathlete ecosystem, including in-person and virtual training sessions, athlete resources, group forums, team functions, and camps

  • Membership in Working Triathlete University, including group webinars, educational content and book club

  • Access to a head coach on an hourly consulting fee basis ($125/hour)

how is tier 2 different from tier 1?

The difference is the level of coach support. Tier 1 includes unlimited communication with your coach, unlimited training adjustments and review, frequent meetings, and in-depth discussions related to training, racing, nutrition, and more. Tier 2 is limited in that your coach reviews your race schedule and builds a bespoke and evolving training plan, however he/she will not review the plan with the same frequency as with Tier 1 athletes. Tier 2 is designed for athletes who want a world-class plan, another set of eyes on their training, but who are more self-guided.

Note: Tier 2 is cheaper than Tier 1. Frequent communication/in-depth coaching requires a Tier 1 membership.

HOW IT WORKS

WE GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER 

In an initial consultation, we discuss your background, experience, lifestyle, and goals. We get to know you and you get to know us so that we make sure that Working Triathlete Coaching is a good fit for you.

WE STRATEGIZE

After discussing your goals, we determine what we need to do to reach them. Specifically, we develop a plan for the coming training cycle that will fit your lifestyle and maximize performance for specific races.

WE GET SCIENTIFIC WITH TRAINING

We determine your fitness (intensity zones, strengths, weaknesses, etc.) so that you get a periodized, targeted, and efficient training schedule. Training plans are delivered via TrainingPeaks in 1-3 week increments.  This ensures that the plan addresses your evolving fitness and is perpetually molded to suit your life schedule.

WE WORK TOGETHER TO ENSURE YOUR TRAINING AND RACING IS OPTIMIZED

Sometimes the little things make the biggest differences, so we work together to make sure every detail of training and racing is covered.
